  • it is SO sad that this is one of the least viewed videos on this channel :(

  • Some people don’t deserve fame my friend but fame does not deserve you, you are too good ❤️

  • 🥺🥺🥺

  • I HAVE BEEN IN THE SYSTEM. ALLLL OF THOSE BOOKS ARE SHIT! BURN THEM ALL!

  • Never change man, never change. The world needs more people like you in it.

  • This was a great watch

  • As a writer with pretty severe depression I gotta say this episode is a punch in the face. But a kind punch, followed by a lot of support and kind words, so thanks for that.

  • Next stop the Food Network channel. Binging With Celebrities the show where actors and actresses come to your show to recreate their food on their shows or movies or video games they created.

  • See him spill the milk he drinks at the end of the reading. Funny

  • I gotta say, hugging this man must feel like a dream

  • Thank you so much for the deep sharing in this episode and your book.

  • I really liked the reading of the story in his book. Coming straight from the man, I really felt his heart pouring out. Much love, Babish. Stay awesome!

  • Andrew: “So strap in, or brush your teeth, get ready for bed.” Me: *brushing my teeth, getting ready for bed

  • Thank you very much for your channel. As someone who has been in foodservice since I was a kid, watching my industry shut down due to covid after 30 years in the business, your videos have kept me inspired. Only my family has been able to enjoy my food for the last few months, but deep diving into what you've been through and how you've worked through it all has made me embrace a new idea about how I can use my experience to help others. Thanks for all you do. And all that you inspire

  • Babish: “Wow dude.. I’m not a threat.. I’m just a hugger “😂😂

  • It was only a year ago to this day that I learnt I could crawl inside my husbands foreskin while he slept, and get all cosy before chewing my way out in the morning :)

  • I love this series so much! It just warms my heart in so many ways. It's like watching Ellen. You change people's lives and somehow still manage to be so humble. You are a wholesome person, Andrew!

  • 0:15 dude just wanted to flex

  • I really enjoy your videos a lot. It has a quiet, peaceful, yet exciting quality to it that I go to when I need to relax and just watch something that warms the soul. Food has also been a very big part in my life, but I've stopped cooking recently due to the same challenge you had. Thank you for reminding me that sometimes the simplest things in life is what makes you the happiest.

  • I was not expecting a cookbook to make me emotional. What an incredibly vibrant, beautiful soul this man encapsulates. I’m happy you’ve found happiness in creating content, God knows I love watching it. I would love to talk to this man for hours on end about anything.

  • Is nobody wondering why it's 81%?

  • Am I the only one who sees a resemblance to Ryan Reynolds

  • ill never get over that he owns a real Eames chair. the flex. the class. bliss.. BABISH.

  • The use of Bach makes this an S tier video. What a cultured gentlemen

  • Your “exclusive” story drew moisture from my eye

  • That’s one way to start off a video xD

  • Wow ur so much more deep than I thought

  • I have to give a presentation as an exam in 5 hours and instead of studying im watching these videos since i didnt get them on my sub feed or my recommended before.

  • i tip my hat to you, one commoner to a legend. long live the king

  • This man is a golden gift to youtube and the culinary world Thank you Andrew.

  • Andrew here strikes me as very intelligent. "Very intelligent" often goes hand in hand with depression, his dramatic reading doesn't surprise me to be honest.

  • Andrew shares his life story and thanks everyone for watching his videos. Everyone liked that

  • 2:57

  • Thank you for making all of us feel like we are more important than we think we are. You make us feel like friends ❤️

  • very touching mista. New fan.

  • That was amazing.

  • You’re inspirational, thank you for adding that reading. You’re much more than a youtube cook or film maker, you’re a genuine caring man who spreads positivity throughout the world. I am grateful that you’ve come this far, the world is a better place with you in it. Best of luck with your current and future endeavors and I hope to one day make a name for myself and possibly know you more personally. Godspeed my friend.

  • 5:30

  • bro what Andrew was married?

  • bro what Andrew was married?

  • Only the people who were actually at the Nashville stop know why he’s not showing the reading from the tour 😂

  • Good god this man in brilliant. Hearing this reading from his book about depression; and psychedelic therapy; and divorce. What a fascinating story he's got, I'm so glad he's sharing his gifts with the world. A very powerful communicator. He would have found his way into Television if he were born before the Internet days... surely.

  • Awwww your story is precious!

  • This video spoke to me, I can relate in more ways than one.

  • "Something I'm good at, storytelling" I wont lie I'd let you read me a bedtime story. Hell yeah, also better out than in ;3

  • Make Paris Hilton’s lasagna

  • Not sure if anyone will see this comment, but this genuinely made me cry

  • what is with this over saturated colors HAHAHUHU

  • I thought that his intro would be funny and whimsical. Instead I listened to a heartfelt, touching, relatable and inspiring story. Thank you Mr Rea.🥰🙋🏾‍♀️😅🇬🇧🇬🇾

  • Babish! I wish you went to Portland!

  • Love you, you’re doing a great job and I’m about to try your recipe for French Onion soup and seeking help with my traumas to be a better me and all this has been in part because of you’re joy and message. Come to Canada one day pretty please so I can hug you and thank you.

  • "so i was selling porn discs..." That's the most alpha intro for a video , ever.

  • Should have called it book with babish

  • I was part of the audience in Philly, and let me tell you, it was a wonderful experience. It was well worth the long train rides in and out of the city. I hope you continue to do these tours for future cookbooks, and I hope to once again be part of the audience for it. (Who knows, maybe I'll actually come forward and ask a question!)

  • As someone who finally set out alone after ten years of a broken marriage, I love you more and more. Thank you for your voice and courage.

  • dang I loved this little private reading

  • Do mushrooms, got it.

  • babish thirstily drinking what i assume is milk or maybe a white russian after explaining his moving origin story is a complete mood.

  • Love you, Babby.

  • It’s kinda like My hero academia It’s all a prequel

  • This is your best episode

  • Just finding out his story after being a fan for a while is so touching. Been going through depression for the past few years like he described. Such an inspiration to take steps into bettering myself. Cried the whole way through this. Damn. I knew I liked him a lot for a reason

  • Because of the intro I thought that when Sawyer asked if he had been in any movies he was just trying to get Andrew to reveal he was a pornstar.

  • "Pictures of my tiny whisk"LMFAO!!!

  • 10:32 When he started talking I honestly thought they modulated his voice down, so he could remain anonymous or something.

  • I'm actually bawling

  • That long read of the book is so similar to my year in 2019. It wild. But also insightful. I gonna try to climb out and get to a good place and you’re channel helps me do that. If I’m down and everything is one fire (I’m also not an arsonist) I watch a Babish video and start cooking. Thanks for the tips in and out of the kitchen.

  • you had been married for 13 years..... how old were u when you got married!?!?

  • I'm crying..

  • I just bought the book. I LOVE IT!!!!

  • That burp midst the reading...👌

  • Holla at me when ya back in NOLA. I wanna cook with ya @ my Firehouse and maybe score an Autograph. Finding your show made me wanna cook more...

  • Will you read me a bedtime story?

  • Is there any link to the video with interview?

  • Is it just me or does he look and sound like Ben Affleck

  • BABISH YOURE GOING TO MAKE ME CRY AND IM NOT EVEN DONE WITH THE EPISODE

  • You look like what a fire place smells like

  • This video should have at least 5.79 million views.

  • Being with Babish? This is going to be an unpopular opinion but it seems like Babish is becoming a little too commercialized.

  • If Andrew wanted, he could use those eyebrows for evil, but he is a humble man and we must appreciate every day in which we do not live under their tyrannical rule.

  • That intro though😍

  • just a comment

  • ......................YOU WERE MARRIED?......alright then

  • You helped me learn how to be a better cook, and your French toast video let me put my spin on my own recipe I can't make some stuff from scratch however I'll get there eventually your channel is a huge gem and you sir have. A Heart of Gold.

  • You are a true inspiration. Thank you

  • Babby is going to the Good Place

  • "encourage you to try telling a story of your own" You know what? I will. I fucking will. One way or another. Thank you, Andrew.

  • You are a hero

  • man can i just say; your videos and story has inspired me to pull myself out of a deep depression as well. last year i was a mess, my marriage had failed, i gave up on myself and i fell into some very dark ways of thinking. after i discovered your videos i naturally started cooking, it was slow at first but eventually i started to get better at it and wanted to share my new found love with people. i then invited all my friends to my home and i cooked for them. i made your take on Kronk's Spinach Puffs and they were a huge hit! ever since then, almost every week or two i invite my friends to my house and i cook for them and just seeing them light up with happiness and warmth had made everything worth it. so all im saying is thank you so so so so so much for everything you do and your passion for food. you really turned my life around for the better.

  • Hey, Andrew, please tell me that you are gonna read that book for an audio book. It would be awsome to listen it from your voice.

  • Powerful. Thank you. Really... thank you.
