  • I've been sitting here for 10 minutes trying to come up with hot chicken puns and none are SFW.

    • Sometimes it pays to just... wing it.

    • Then go NSFW 😏

    • I'm 13 and my dream is to be a chef and the show helps with easy stuff like easy recipes like this

    • @Mistah MegaManFan he didn't catch it?

  • my only issue is brushing them with the sauce instead of tossing them, but thats just my personal preference, everything else is amazing

  • If only I was not allergic to spicy food

  • What do you guys think is the hottest chicken in Nashville? We think that it is Bolton's Spicy Chicken & Fish and recently did a video putting it to the test!

  • Why reduce the heat from a 9 when i can increase the heat 5 fold

  • Can’t wait till ep69

  • damnnn

  • *0:39* Video starts

  • does it have to be dry brine

  • I just made this. Be warned it is 100% delicious heart attack on a plate. If you eat this you instantly become American

    • However if you overcook it even slightly, then all of the water forming a protective barrier keeping the oil off the chicken will dissipate and oil WILL flood your chicken making it extremely greasy and very unhealthy

    • @Droidman5910 if you fry it correctly it dosent hold near as much as you'd think

    • @Firestorm42 you know, besides how much oil that breading holds

    • It's really not that bad for you though. Fried chicken isnt good for by any stretch of the imagination but theres nothing here(as long you cook it correctly) that is really that bad for you

  • The Best Nashville Hot Chicken I’ve ever had is Prince’s In Nashville!

    • Zion Cruz It’s the best!

    • Dude, music city hot chicken all the way. I have so much respect for Nashville chicken now, I can‘t even imagine how good Prince’s must be.

  • I just made this at home! But i replaced Louisiana hot sauce with sriracha and cayenne pepper with Japanese shichimi, cause i didn't have those ingredients. Best fried chicken I've had in a minute, homemade or otherwise

  • What do you mean 'all the tiny ones'? I thought there was only ONE tiny whisk qq

  • I keep running into the issue where my batter refuses to adhere to the skin of the chicken. The chicken just ends up shrinking inside the batter, leaving gaps between the two. How do I pull off this or even Popeyes style where it's just firmly on the chicken?

  • Hi Andrew/Babish. How do i avoid the bottom side of the fried chicken becoming soggy when in the oven? (Because of the juices dripping downwards)

  • Babish the type that will raise the chicken he finna cook

  • “But I want it”

  • I think I am torturing myself😛😛😛😛

  • So I guess I'm not the only person who's noticed this dish becoming super popular all of the sudden? lol

    • Fried chicken has always been popular but nashville style has def hit a climax in foodie trends

  • Where did this guy go to culinary school?

  • Andrew do you have this recipe in a more Crohn disease free? im not able to eat popcorn, corn and spicy foods but the last one is a part of my life so its kinda hard.

  • Great stuff ! Love the presentation !

  • "this is dangerous, but it want it!" XD

  • This man just fried his chicken in 100% fat

  • I'm honestly curious why he doesn't just finish the chicken in the oil instead of needing the oven

  • For those wondering: 9/14 is about 6,4/10

  • Ummmm I live in Nashville our spices are marinated together now rubbed on afterward.

  • Hot chicken, tell me what i'm missin Kissin on a man while i'm workin in the kitchen

  • nashville born and raised here, this hits the soul perfectly

  • I love how an ad for Rolex Submariner is under this video, the same watch he’s wearing

    • Seriously? He's wearing a watch with a five digit price tag?

  • When I was in Nashville I preferred the chicken on waffles or once on beignets. That sweetness really complements the spicy goodness

  • hot chicn

  • Can you please do chicken pucks from Sam and cat?

  • When I put my chicken in the oven it came out soggy. Did anyone else have that problem?

  • My bf and I made this last night and we had the HARDEST time cutting the chicken but when we finally figured it all out it was deliciousss. We had so much fun making it too!

    • Can I add you on Instagram

  • You should do the fried chicken from house of a 1000 corpses

  • 😁😩😳❤️🤯😳

  • Is there a inside joke as to why you insist on pronouncing "pan" incorrectly?

  • Toast or something.

  • how would you make this in an air fryer

  • Hattie B's is overrated if your ever in Nashville got to Boltons on galatin pike. Best in the city

  • Dude, you cut the wings with part of the breast so they’re like a “piece” too, but you wasted the wings and cut the breast in half. Novice error man

  • "sorting white and dark meat" wow dude, uncool.

  • "Go make some toast or something" lol

  • 4:04 _See’s wonderbread_ *Oh no*

  • that spice is pretty drumatic

  • Get it right nashville native here Prince's hot chicken started it all. RESPECT the original!

  • Good lord I want to eat that right now!

  • Who cares about punctuations when you are Babish or you got voice modulation enabled by default?

  • Dip not brush ( sigh) white people

  • Chicken looked undercooked

  • Bread and butter pickles are gross popular opinion

  • When did the Yankees decide southern food was trendy?

  • Love this intro

  • The fried chicken, taste so good when I eat with the Delta Parole music on blast the fried chicken is love fried chicken is life.

  • Okay, question. Has anyone tried this with Chinese chili oil instead of the spice mixture he shows here? I'm curious if it would work well before I make the gargantuan mess of frying chicken in an apartment.

  • I'd skip the piece of wonderbread. I know that's how you do it but why? Does anyone actually eat it?

  • I think this was a mistake upload, you used store bought bread instead of making a loaf from scratch

    • Well, if you want an authentic southern fried chicken, your not getting home made bread

  • Hattie B's is good but I'd also recommend checking out Bolton's or Prince's if you're in Nashville. BTW...Prince's is the original. They've been around for almost 100 years.

  • I attempted this amazing recipe but I sous vided the chicken thigh at 150 for an hour and then did the same breading step. Fried it real quick to get it golden brown and made the sauce the same way. It was dang good.

  • Born and raised in Nashville before becoming big and never had this which is a sin, so I decided to make it and I have to say we could go spicier.

  • Anyone from Nashville knows “Nashville Hot Chicken” just became a thing recently

  • This. Shit. Is. *HOT.*

  • *HIS NAME ISNT BABISH HIS NAME ISNT BABISH* "Hey babish that looks good!" CRAP

  • Would this be better with chicken thighs rather than chicken breasts?

  • You use a lot of salt in virtually every video of yours I’ve seen and it’s beginning to trouble me

  • mario

  • Random: this is too hot Babish: why are you cooking hot chicken dude? Go cook some toast or something Everyone: ooooohh he said go cook some toaaasssttt

  • How long does it need to sit in the oven to be fully cooked through?

  • Broke down my first ten piece chicken today thanks babish!

  • I did it. It actually works. It is an actually valid recipe. Only thing that didn't work was the sauce; the spices didn't dissolve.

  • My oil is not mixing!!

  • But toast is just as spicy

  • The best hot chicken is made with Crystal hot sauce Tabasco and or pepperoncinis

  • i accidentally had the wrong video copied and sent this to my friend who was sad

  • Man I love my Hattie B’s waitin in that line is worth it
