  • nice curry man!

  • 🤠🤲

  • Absolutely loved Floyd's work. RIP buddy

  • Is it possible to have the recipes on a readable format please?

  • What I've learned here is that Curry is an extremely broad term

  • RIP floyd he was a real one

  • No way that guy was 60. he barely looked 40.

  • bravo actually brought someone who knows what he's doing

  • I live close to a restaurant Floyd was involved in, O’Pedro, where I’ve always enjoyed going. The news of his passing had an unexpected affect on me despite having never met the man. I continue to order from his restaurants, helped make me and my mom’s time in the pandemic a little less depressing. I wish his family the best and suggest people to check out his work and order from his restaurants. RIP Floyd.

  • is it a particular curry or just curry

  • It's insane, I feel like I can smell it through my phone 🤤

  • o7 Floyd o7

  • Does anyone here know how to sell a new recipe? Im broke and i ready to sell my recipe at a reasonable cost to live through Covid.

  • He was so respectful and gentle, may he rest in peace.

  • This is interesting. Hats off to you for reaching out to Floyd's family and wanting to know their wishes. Using her husband's death to promote her merchandise seems very classless of his wife, on the other hand. Regardless, it does give me a baseline for Indian cuisine, which has long been a mystery to me.

  • I saw u r vedios every day, in this episode you felt like little are always straight forward in other vedios...indian food is definitely a big cuisine various variations with so many spices and everything. There is no constant to anything...yet everything tastes like home...i always want you to try indian will definitely love our cuisine.

  • I've never had Indian food, however curry has interested me ever since I got into authentic (authentic or ethnic style? Idk) ramen at the nearby shops

  • A really great episode and tribute!

  • he sounds like an absolute gentleman. a great loss for the cooking world. RIP

  • RIP brother Floyd.

  • That’s an amazing legacy! Love his recipes!

  • Less gooooo

  • 😋 I love Curry.

  • Has it seriously been a year of me watching Johnny Sins???

  • What a sweet tribute! Andrew's sincerity touched my heart. Floyd seems like he was such a kind and gentle soul. May he be at peace, and may his loved ones find solace in each other.

  • The intro broke my heart! A great tribute and amazing content. Thank you!

  • I'm not crying, you're crying 😢

  • I’m sad..condolences to Floyds family

  • You could have five or six spices... _or just one_

  • Om Shanti!

  • One thing Ive noticed over they years is the difference in how western and eastern chefs (and recipe books) treats the measurements of ingredients. Western chefs are all about precision; all ingredients are measured, or at least given the rough estimate of its supposed amount. Eastern chefs are all about feeling your way to the correct amount; just do things that you think is best. Not saying one is better than the other. Its just an observation I made that I think is interesting.

  • The indistinguishable subtitle is unctuous. He says unctuous and delicious.

  • A video worthy of 100

  • 8:58 Incredibly (indistinct) and delicious. Seriously curious about what he meant to say.

  • Yogurt never came into my mind! I try this next time =D

  • Mutton Rogan Josh was the first dish I had when visiting India for the first time. Still one of my favorite dishes of all the many many I tried while there.

  • RIP Gonna make me some naan soon

  • On a curry note, how about vindaloo and poppadoms from Red Dwarf?

  • RIP Floyd Cardoz

  • amazing curries! As Indonesian, I know different kind of curries, mainly those from different countries. I think we envision curry as a dish that have some sort of thick sauce soup.

  • Sorry to hear about the loss of your friend.

  • There was a typo in the subtitles - at 02:27 word is "naan" not "none". New fan of your channel.

  • Ripf

  • its not 'josh' its 'ghosh'. Ghosh means lamb. Josh means enthusiasm

  • 🙏🙏🙏

  • Me sitting with my curry powder wanting to lean how to use it Floyd : I hate curry powder Me: 😐

  • I’m sorry but the Rogan Josh is wayyyyyyy off from the actual recipe... like wayyyyy off. I wish I could be on your show 😭 I’d show some North Indian dishes

  • I'm now a Babish fan.

  • Chef Cardoz seems from this video to be such a softly and elegantly spoken chef. Sadly, I don't know much of his other works, but im currently making a curry from this video in his honor. Rest in power, my friend.

  • oh noooo i saw floyd before but never knew his name so heart breaking :( if not for floyd i wouldnt even know lacha paratha - i'll have to try some of his recipes :(

  • The legal kettle unsurprisingly match because parade individually observe regarding a onerous encyclopedia. premium, blue-eyed chess

  • Not nearly enough Mustard seed oil was used in the preparation of these curry's... RIP

  • This mans a ultra chad.

  • Oh no, I really loved Floyd in the Naan episode (and this one of course). Sad to hear he passed :(

  • Babish: “Can we specify what ingredients and amounts?” Floyd: “Absolutely not” Lol

  • Love the vid but should mention that rogan josh is the Incredibly hot DO NOT PUT IN 6 TBSPS OF CHILIE POWDER. My spice tolerance is not really high but isn't low either i suggest at least half as much if not less chillie powder

  • Andrew, will you be putting the recipes for this up on your website?

  • He represented brown cuisine so beautifully. "I hate curry powder" spoken so true dude. R.I.P

    • @ahmed siddiqui Well the term 'brown' covers middle eastern people too in western sense

    • @Dopamine Dreams brown as in Pakistani, Indian, and Bangali food

    • wdym "brown cuisine"

    • Meh

  • Man RIP to a wonderful person 🙏🏾. This must have been hard to film and edit, but I'm so glad that you guys did this, and it's what his family wants. 🥲

  • Rip to floyd

  • Hey this might be late into the game, but can you make the Leblanc Curry from Persona 5? Something that will make Sojiro say, "Hoo boy".

  • I still make the Naan recepie for breakfast that he taught me, I'm sorry for your lost

  • Is there a written recipe for these curries?

  • curry is one of the best food out there, it's an art of combining spices in a perfect way so that one does not overpower each other, such a simple yet complicated dish that requires a perfect manipulation.

  • Rest in peace Floyd :(

  • any people with some curry experience who can vouch for the makhani sauce with everything blended directly (cold)? see 4:18

  • What a tribute to an amazing person. I’ve been diving into Indian cooking and this a was so helpful. I’m so glad you posted this video. Thank you so much.

  • Just bought the spices from the link. Can’t wait to try them out! ❤️

  • You need to fix the text "In Memeorium" at the end

  • I don't even know this guy, but... Seeing a dead person in a video always gives me chills... It's very sad, and I hope his legacy lives on

  • You changed watches during filming. :-)

  • What were the ingredients added into the blender after the tomatoes for the butter chicken?

  • RIP Floyd Cardoz 😞

  • Lol Just like Babish said westerns think Indian food is locked into the same set of spices which are used in almost every dish and there is not much variety. But it’s ironic cuz Indian food is the exact opposite. Compared to western or other Asian food, Indian food has so much more flavors and variety and uses spices and ingredients that cant even be found in other countries. Thats why Indian food sort of “ unlocks “some of ur taste buds that u didnt even know existed

  • The safe distribution neurologically dam because grape demographically include after a placid ease. cowardly, torpid glove

  • RIP Floyd

  • Rest in peace, Floyd.

  • there was two ep 51

  • Is there a lil recipe list to go with the episode? Can't seem to find one!

  • Beautiful tribute! What a wealth of knowledge and experience. RIP Floyd

  • this episode is 2 years old before posting? Are all your videos this dated? shame he's past.

  • Wow. I remember when you dropped the first episode. Congrats on 100!

  • what a fantastic tribute and a wonderful honor to his memory and his family. I didn't expect to be moved by recipes tonight but here we are and I love this.

  • I stopped by for the curry recipes. I'm staying and subscribing. You must be a master in the kitchen with that many subscribers. Sorry for the loss of your friend

  • I'm always curious about the ingredient for indian recipes called "chili powder." Because I've seen it in indian grocery stores and its just "red chili powder"...but there are SO many different types of red chilis with different heat...from kashmiri to cayenne to the chili powder you find in American supermarkets which is not spicy at all and used in chili. What powder am I looking for when I buy "red chili powder" for most indian dishes?

  • a

  • RIP Floyd. Thank you for your knowledge.

  • What is Indian food! How can we generalize for 130 crore people or an area the size of Europe minus Russia! With a history dating back thousands of years!!

  • Rest In Peace. Such a kind, generous man.

  • Dude had the MOST relaxing voice. Could have done a legit ASMR cooking channel

  • RIP Floyd. Your mark was made and will last a lifetime.

  • Awesome video could you do an episode on Thai currys?

  • I didn't know he'd passed away and I'm really really saddened by this. Thank you for the small acknowledgement at the beginning, and I love just overall how this episode shows Flloyd's dedication to his work, his love for Indian cuisine, and just the sheer respect he commanded. Great episode Andrew. Thank you.

  • please do the curry of life from naruto on binging with babish!! :)

  • Sorry for your loss Babish what other dyeing conditions did he have because people can die from those conditions but covid just makes it worse

  • 'Curry' without the mention of the most delicious ones from the Indian Subcontinent won't be a complete class. Love those..🔥

  • This is amazing. I learned so much. Rest in peace.

  • Rip Floyd, great video, I’m gonna make rogan josh from scratch now!

  • RIP Floyd
